According to the statistics, about half of all smokers who keep smoking end up dying from a smoking-related illness. These illness are deadly and we should pay attention on them. Also, smoking is a leading risk factor for peripheral vascular disease, and stop the blood vessels carrying blood to the leg and arm muscles. Smoking will cause mouth cancer. It is included in a specific group of cancers called oral and head and neck cancer. It's estimated that eighty percent of all cases of mouth cancers are due to smoking. Smoking can cause lung cancer too. According to the American Cancer Society in 2007, an estimated 200, 000 new cases of lung cancer will be diagnosed and more than 100, 000 deaths will occur. Besides, a variety of other cancers which are realized by few people are caused by smoking, including cancer of the voice box, throat, esophagus, bladder, kidney, pancreas, cervix, stomach, and some leukemia.
